Przemysław Saleta ( born March 7, 1968 in Wrocław ) is a Polish boxer.

Career

The former kickboxer Saleta in 1991 in the U.S. professional cruiserweight, but lost for the first time ever in his fifth fight - prematurely, as with the rest of his defeats. After a points victory over an old become Dennis Andries he was briefly out by Ring Magazine in the Top 10, but shortly afterwards he went in the first round KO and oriented themselves to heavy weight.

On 9 December 1995, he boxed in the heavyweight division against the Croats Željko Mavrović first time to the European Championship, but was defeated by knockout in the first round.

He then remained inactive for 1.5 years. In 2001 he won the Polish championship and then received on 20 July 2002, a new European Championship opportunity. His opponent was the defending champion and previously unbeaten Luan Krasniqi. Krasniqi dominated the fight initially and was significantly also on points forward.
