Puerto Baquerizo Moreno is the capital of the Ecuadorian province of Galápagos. The city is situated on the southwest coast of the Galapagos island of San Cristóbal, the easternmost island of the archipelago.

The city is filled with 4,816 inhabitants ( 2013), the second largest in the province to Puerto Ayora. The economic activity of the city is made up of arts and crafts, fishing, agriculture and the tourism industry. The city's airport ( SCY ), is the only one in the archipelago, which is served in addition to that on Baltra regularly from the mainland.

The city's name comes from the Ecuadorian president Alfredo Baquerizo Moreno ( September 1916-August 1920 ).
