Puerto Rico women's national volleyball team

The Puerto Rican national volleyball team of women is a selection of the best Puerto Rican players, the Federación de Puertorriqueña Voleibol represented in international tournaments and international matches.

History

World cup

The Puerto Rican women participated for the first time in 1974 at a volleyball World Cup finals and occupied the 22th place. Eight years later, they escalated to Rank 17 Your best result so far it achieved in 2002 as ninth. At the 2006 World Cup they reached 15th place

Olympic games

Puerto Rico has never qualified for the Olympics.

NORCECA Championship

In the first three NORCECA Championships, the Puerto Rican women fifth, fourth and sixth were. In 1977 she again occupied the fifth rank. From 1981 to 1999, they were continually doing.
