Pyongyang TV Tower

The TV Tower Pyongyang ( Kor.: 평양 TV 타워 ) is a 150 -meter high TV tower in the North Korean capital Pyongyang.

History

The TV Tower Pyongyang was completed in April 1967 and for the dissemination of color television, which was simultaneously introduced into North Korea. The only official television station in North Korea 's Korean Central Television.

Location and description

The tower stands in Kaeson Park in the borough Moranbong - guyŏk north of Kim Il-sung Stadium.
