Qin Guangrong

Qin Guangrong (Chinese秦光荣; * 1950 in Yongzhou, Hunan Province) is a politician in the People's Republic of China.

Qin joined in 1972 the Chinese Communist Party. After working in politics and government in his home province, most recently from 1993 to 1999 as party secretary of the CPC Changsha City in 1999, he moved to the province of Yunnan.

He was from 2003 Deputy Party Secretary and Vice-Governor of the province. From 2007 to 2011 he was its governor. In 2011 he was promoted to party secretary of the province. His successor as governor was Li Jiheng.

He was a candidate since 1997 and is a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China since 2007.
