Queuin is a heterocyclic organic compound. It is a derivative of the nucleobase guanine. The N7 atom of guanine is replaced by a C7 - atom, thereby forming 7- deazaguanosine, where a cyclopentene was added over an aminomethyl group. It comes as part of the nucleoside Queuosin (Q ) in the tRNA before.
