Quintet (company)

K. K. Quintet (Japanese株式会社 クインテット, Kabushiki - gaisha Kuintetto; . Engl of for Quintet ) is a Japanese development studio founded in 1989 for computer games.

Company History

Has Quintet especially in the 1990s by high-quality games for the publisher Enix ( now Square Enix ) excelled. The site of the studio was www.quintet.co.jp not been updated since 2002 and is now no longer online, so it can be assumed by a resolution of the studio.

The founders of Quintet have originally split off from the Nihon Falcom Corporation and were, among others for the first two games of the Ys and Asteka ( Tombs & Treasure ) series responsible. Today 's employees are still distributed Quintet involved in the development of various games, such as Super Robot Wars or Mystic Heroes.
