R.O.O.T.S. ( Route of Overcoming the Struggle ) is the second studio album by American rapper Flo Rida. It was published on 31 March 2009 by the record label Poe Boy Entertainment and Atlantic Records.

Criticism
David Jeffries of Allmusic wrote about the album: "The unsurprisingly inconsistent ROOTS is hip -hop like Nas never happened, a flash or fodder album Owings more to Lady GaGa than to Public Enemy. "He gave 3 out of 5 stars.

Right Round is the first single from the album and was Flo Rida's second number-one hit. It was published on 29 January 2009. Singer Kesha has a guest appearance in the song.
Sugar is the second single from the album. It was published on 17 March 2009. The single made it to the Us charts at number 5
Jump is the third single from the album. She appeared on July 29, 2009. Nelly Furtado is the feature guest in the song. The song climbed the charts in Germany, America, England, Canada and Australia.
Be On You is the fourth single from the album. It was published on 6 October 2009. Singer Ne -Yo was present as a feature guest. The single made it to number 19 in the U.S. charts.
Sales
The album was sold in America within the first week 55,000 times. In August 2009, the album had sold over 750,000 copies worldwide and became the best selling rap album of eight in 2009.
