Wild Ones (album)
Wild Ones is the fourth and most successful studio album of American rapper Flo Rida. It was released on July 3, 2012 under the label Atlantic Records. On the album Sia Furler, Jennifer Lopez, Redfoo and Georgi Kay act as a guest musician. On June 22, a deluxe edition followed on a second part of the song Let It Roll with Lil Wayne and two remixes is included to Whistle.
Holiday Edition: In November, the re-release, Wild Ones appeared.
Singles
In September 2011, the first single from the album, Good Feeling, was disengaged. The single is a remix of song Aviciis levels. Good Feeling reached the first place in the German, Austrian and in the British charts. In the U.S. and in Switzerland managed Good Feeling each to third place.
On 20 December 2011, the single Wild Ones, in which the singer Sia participated appeared. The single made it to Germany to sixth in Austria in second place and in Switzerland in third place. In the United Kingdom managed to Wild Ones to fourth place and in the U.S. to fifth place.
On 24 April 2012, the single whistle was disengaged. It reached number two on the charts in Germany, Austria and the United Kingdom. In the U.S., the single managed so far only on position 64 and in Switzerland in the first place.
Also the song Let It Roll was released as a download, which includes a music video was released. He has been able to reach only the German and Austrian charts. Also to be found on the single is the second part of Let It Roll, in which also the rapper Lil Wayne is involved.
The next single, a cover of the song I Cry Cry ( Just a Little ) was published by the Bingo Players. Even before the single release rose to the top of the Norwegian charts.
As a last single was released Sweet Spot with Jennifer Lopez, but could not get success.
Criticism
The album received more negative criticism. Robert Copsey from Digital Spy said, for example:
" He even gets Jennifer Lopez painstakingly linking candy with G -spots on 'Sweet Spot', though there is minor solace on Rick Ross- helmed ' Thinking of You'. The result Has the cohesion of a compilation album, but then he is a ' singles artist ' after ave "
