Bingo Players

The Bingo Players were a Dutch dance and electro house duo, consisting of the two DJs Paul Bäumer and Maarten Hoogstraten.

History

In 2006, Paul Bäumer and Maarten Hoogstraten started their project Bingo Players and launched with the release of several EPs for the label Techtone her career. In 2008, she had a first national success with the single Touch Me which was released in collaboration with the Dutch duo Chocolate Puma and reached the first place in the list of downloads of digital labels Beatport. Also successful they were with the follow-up single chop, both songs could be placed in the Dutch top 100 charts.

In 2009, the song was released as a single Devotion, which was especially successful in Belgium. It was released by the label Sneakerz Muzik. Devotion contains a sample of the song I Wanna Give You Devotion of 1990 the British dance duo Nomad. 1 A few months later, a vocal version featuring the voice of Tony Scott was released as a download single.

In 2010 the Bingo Players founded their own label Hysteria.

In 2011 she produced together with the Dutch DJ Nicky Romero, a remix of the international smash single Give Me Everything by musicians rappers Pitbull, Ne- Yo, Nayer and Afrojack. Also in 2011 appeared Cry ( Just a Little ), with which they were first successful in the UK charts.

In the production of " Cry ( just a little ) " in the year 2004, they were mainly inspired by artists such as Steve Angello, Patrick Alavi, Dave Armstrong and other House sizes this time.

In early 2012 they were taken from the house and dance label Kontor Records, where they released the song also rattle as a single. Even if he was not so successful in their homeland, he became its first Europe-wide hit. In February, their ninth single L' Amour, which also includes a mash-up with Nicky Romero single generation was published 303 appeared. In May, she decided a vocal version of her song record mode. With the voice of Heather Bright they published it under the title Do not Blame the Party (Mode).

In summer 2012 Flo Rida released on his album Wild Ones the Song I Cry, which is a Rapversion Cry ( Just a Little ) and Samplet the Bingo Players- only. The song of the U.S. rapper became an international top ten hit worldwide and increased awareness of the Dutch. Then it came to a collaboration with the American hip- hop group Far East Movement. Together with them, took the Bingo Players Rattle on their hit new. In the UK, these Vocal Version rose under the title Get Up ( Rattle ) at No. 1 on the charts and also internationally, the song could in many countries in the upper chart third place.

Paul Bäumer died on December 18, 2013 from the effects of cancer that was diagnosed in July of the same year with him.
