Raasiku
Raasiku ( German: Rasik ) is a village (Estonian alevik ) in Estonia in Harju County in the community Raasiku ( Raasiku vald ).
Description
The town is located 29 kilometers away on the river Jõelähtme of the Estonian capital Tallinn.
In Raasiku there is a whole school, a cultural center, a hospital, a pharmacy, kindergarten Oravake, a library, a grocery store, two stores, a church and two cemeteries.
It is known the Raasiku railway station on the main railway route between Tallinn and Tapa.

( † November 5, 1837 in Astrakhan in Russia born March 28, 1790) born; On Good Rasik the brothers were Hermann Woldemar of lions asterisk (* December 8, 1776 † January 21, 1858 in Saint Petersburg ) and Johann Peter Eduard von Loewenstern which were both excellent officers in Russian service and with the Order Pour le Mérite and ascended to the major General.
