Rachel Pickup

Rachel Pickup (born 15 July 1973 in London) is a British actress.

Life and career

Rachel Pickup was born in London in 1973 as one of two children of the actor couple Ronald Pickup and Lans Traverse. Her brother Simon pickup is also an actor. She got a place at the National Youth Theatre, and continued her acting training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art ( RADA ) in London.

Even before graduating from RADA got Rachel Pickup 1996 in the BBC mini-series No Bananas offered a starring role. In the German-speaking world it was known by the appearing 2001 biopic Victoria & Albert in which she played Lady Henrietta Standish. In 2008, she co-starred with her father in an episode of the broadcast on ZDF detective series Midsomer Murders with.
