Ronald Pickup

Ronald Alfred Pickup ( born June 7, 1940 in Chester, Cheshire ) is a British actor.

Life and career

Ronald Pickup was born in 1940 in the North West of England Chester, close to the Welsh border. His parents were the editor Eric Pickup and his wife Daisy. He attended the King's School in his hometown of Chester. The acting was educated Pickup at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.

As a theater actor he worked with Sir Laurence Olivier at the Royal National Theatre.
