Racking Horse
The Racking Horse is an American breed of horse gear, formed in 1970 with the establishment of a separate register and the definition of the breeding objective. At the Tennessee Walking Horse breeding lines were significantly involved. The race has its own organization, the Racking Horse Breeders' Association of America, based in Decatur, Alabama.

Exterior
The Racking Horse has a shoulder height of about 150 to 160 cm. It comes in all colors, including piebald ago.
Interior
The temperament of the Racking Horse is moderate to quiet.
Gaits
In addition to the three basic gaits walk, trot and canter, the Racking Horse still has another gait, rack, a four-stroke transition, which is run and sliding is similar to the gait of Iceland horses. The speed of this gait is very variable and of the slow pace of work, the show rack, to be ridden on the fast rack up to racing speed, the Speed Rack, with speeds of up to 50 km / hr.
Breeding history
The history of the Racking Horse dates back to the period before the American Civil War. The organization or Racking Horse Breeders' Association of America was founded in May 1971.
