Radiopilot

Radiopilot was a German band from Berlin. The group referred to himself as a pop band whose music is enriched with elements of rock.

History

As a precursor to the band applies the band Green session that had the same band members plus changing singers up to the present singer Luke Pizon. Green Session was founded in 1999, initially with German as well as several songs in English, since 2002 only with German lyrics. Even then could various band competitions are won. In the present composition, the band in 2005 by Luke Pizon (guitar / vocals), was Rafael Triebel (guitar), Benjamin Steinke (bass ), Christoph Hengelhaupt (drums) and founded Florian Büttner (keyboard) under the name of kimono. With this name they successfully took part in the Emergenza competition and made ​​it to the finals of the competition in the Tauber Valley Festival.

In the spring of 2006, then renamed in kimono Radiopilot, thereafter they took at the John Lennon Talent Award contest, in which she took first place. 2007 Radio pilot received a recording contract with the Sony BMG Columbia Germany.

The debut album Life was happening from May 2007 to November 2007 in Bochum Mohrmann Studio with producer OLAF Opal ( among others, The Notwist, July ) was added. Videos

The band produced in addition to the normal music videos alternative versions for the fans.
