Radisson, Quebec

Radisson is a city in the south of the Canadian province of Quebec. The city is located in the regional county municipality ( municipalité régional de comté ) Jamesie and was founded in 1974 to house construction workers and employees of the James Bay hydroelectric project.

Radisson is the end of the 620 km long Route de la Baie James to Matagami, which was built in the early 1970s to develop the construction of the James Bay hydroelectric project.
