Răducanu Necula

Necula " Rică " " Tamango " Răducanu ( born May 10, 1946 in Vladeni, Circle Ialomiţa as Răducan Necula ) is a former Romanian football goalkeeper. He completed 329 games in the highest Romanian football league, the Divizia A, and participated in the World Cup 1970.

Career

Necula Răducanu began his career at Rapid Bucharest. His first try in Divizia A he celebrated on 10 May 1966. Having been used in his first season only towards the end, Răducanu was in season 1966/67 goalkeeper and was instrumental in the title victory. After winning the Romanian Cup in 1972 Rapid fell in the championship more and more in rear regions back and eventually rose at the end of the 1973/74 season from the Divizia B. This season Răducanu did not only produce as Torverhinderer, but controlled the first Romanian goalkeeper at all three matches at own. After he had done with Rapid in the following season 's re-emergence, Răducanu moved to league rivals Sportul Studenţesc. After three years at Sportul Răducanu got in 1978 the opportunity to become the most successful Romanian football club Steaua Bucharest to change. Here Răducanu but could not prevail as expected and only came to just over half of the possible assignments, so that it is already in the autumn of 1979 FCM Resita joined, who played in Divizia B. In 1980 Răducanu got another opportunity to play in Divizia A, and moved to FC Baia Mare, but he already left again during the winter break. After working for two unterklassigen clubs Răducanu finished his career in 1982.

National

Răducanu played 61 games for the Romanian national football team. He had his first operation on June 24, 1967 against Italy. He participated in the Soccer World Cup 1970 in Mexico and part was used in the match against the eventual champions Brazil, when he came on in the 28th minute for the injured Stere Adamache.

Private

After the end of his active career, Răducanu retired from football and operating grocery stores under the name Merci Rica ( after his nickname Rică Răducanu ).
