Rafael Amador

Rafael Amador Flores ( born November 16, 1957) is a former Mexican football player.

Biography

Player

Amador was a very hard sometimes defender, who was sent off eleven times in the nine seasons between 1979/80 and 1987/88. During the same period, he scored two goals: his first goal, by the way its only in an official match, he succeeded in a 4-1 victory against Deportivo Toluca cougars in the 1983/84 season. In the following season he scored in the semi-final first leg of the Liguilla at Club León ( 3:3 ).

Clubs

Rafael Amador played 1979-1987 for the UNAM Pumas with whom he was in season 1980/81 Mexican champion and twice (1980 and 1982), the CONCACAF Champions Cup and 1981 Copa Interamericana won. At the end of his active professional career, he was 1987/88 when Puebla FC under contract.

National

Between 1983 and 1986 came Amador Flores total of 30 times for the Mexican national football team used.
