Rafael Pires

Rafael Pires Monteiro, called Rafael, ( born June 22, 1989 in Coronel Fabriciano, Minas Gerais ) is a Brazilian footballer.

Career

Generally

Rafael is one of the best goalkeepers Brazil. Already in his youth he played for U-20 national team of Brazil.

Association

At his current club he has passed through all the youth teams and has been called early to the youth national teams. Since the 2013 season, he replaced the increasingly goalkeeper Fábio.

National

With the U -20 national team, he won 2009 South American Championship. An appeal to the senior national team has not taken place.
