Raffaele Cutolo

Raffaele Cutolo ( born December 20, 1941 in Ottaviano, Naples ) is a boss of the Neapolitan Camorra. He is the founder of the Nuova Camorra Organised (NCO), one of the two great families of the Camorra in Naples today. Since 1963 he has been imprisoned repeatedly, but also governs the NCO from the prison cell. He became famous in 1981, when a leading politician of the Italian Christian Democrats ( Christian Democrats ), Ciro Cirillo, was kidnapped by the Red Brigades, and Cutolo was paid by the Christian Democrats, in order to free the politicians out of the hands of the Red Brigades.

1986 honored him with the Italian director Giuseppe Tornatore a movie called " The Professor " ( Il Camorrista ), where the term "Professor " due to his nickname in the Camorra.
