Rafik Halliche

Rafik Halliche (Arabic رفيق حليش, DMG Rafiq Hallis; * 2 September 1986 in Algiers ) is an Algerian football player.

Career

In clubs

Halliche began his career with NA Hussein Dey in his homeland. Overall, he played four years at Hussein Dey, before moving to Europe in January 2008.

Halliche signed a contract with Benfica, of which he was subsequently awarded to Nacional Funchal. His debut in the Portuguese top was the central defender on 30 March 2008 against União Leiria. The game ended 2-0. 2008/ 09 he came up with 15 inserts for Nacional, the club for the Europa League could qualify. His debut at European club level gave the Algerians in the following season on 27 August 2009 in the second leg of qualifying for Europa League against Zenit St. Petersburg. He was replaced at half-time for Nuno Pinto. He also played in five group matches and scored one goal against Werder Bremen. In the championship, the club was seventh.

On 23 August 2010 Halliche changed hands for 2.5 million euros for Fulham FC.

On August 31, 2012 Halliche joined Académica de Coimbra.

In the National Team

He participated in Angola at the African Nations Cup 2010. The central defender played in all three group matches and scored in the match against Mali a hit. Algeria failed in the semifinals to eventual winners Egypt. Halliche was referenced in the 0-4 defeat with a second yellow card of the field.

He also starred in the Algerian squad for the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa where he played in all three games, before he had to play as the departure Table with his team.
