Raheem Lawal

Raheem Adewole Lawal (born 4 May 1990 in Lagos) is a Nigerian football player who plays for Eskişehirspor.

Career

Association

Nwogbo came in the Nigerian city of Lagos on the world and learned to play football in the youth teams of diverse teams in his homeland. He then moved in 2009 to the Spanish team Club Deportivo Atlético Baleares and played the next three seasons for this club.

For the summer of 2012 he left Atlético Baleares and moved to the Turkish TFF 1 Lig newly promoted Adana Demirspor. With his new club, he established himself as one of the Shooting Stars of the first round and was taken in the winter break with several Turkish first division side Bursaspor and Istanbul as Büyükşehir Belediyespor in conjunction. Finally Lawal moved to the start of the second half to first division Mersin İdman Yurdu. With this club he missed the end of the season in the league and got off in the first Lig.

On the last day of the winter transfer window 2013/14 Lawal moved to first division Eskişehirspor.

National

After moving to Adana Demirspor he was discovered for the Nigerian national football team and was in the autumn of 2012 his international debut. In January 2013 he was nominated for the African Cup of Nations 2013.
