Raimond van der Gouw

Raimond van der Gouw ( born March 24, 1963 in Oldenzaal ) is a Dutch football goalkeeper. He is the oldest player in the Dutch professional leagues, which is still in use.

Career

He began his career van der Gouw in 1985 at the Go Ahead Eagles. In 1988 he moved to Vitesse Arnhem.

For the 1996/97 season he left Vitesse towards Manchester United, where he indeed behind Peter Schmeichel was only second choice, but nevertheless came to regular operations.

For the season 2002/ 03 he moved to West Ham United. There he came to no single application. A season later, he moved back to his home to RKC Waalwijk. A season later, he found a commitment to AGOVV Apeldoorn, where he ended his career in 2007. For the 2007/08 season he signed as goalkeeping coach at Sunderland. Since 2009 he has Goalkeeping coach at Vitesse Arnhem.
