Rain Phoenix
Rain Phoenix (also Rainbow Phoenix) ( born November 21, 1972 in Crockett, Texas) is an American actress, musician and singer.
Rain Phoenix was born as the second of five children. She is the sister of actors Joaquin and River Phoenix. She spent her childhood partly in South America, where her parents were missionary work on behalf of the children of God. In 1978 the family returned to the U.S. and changed the family name from Bottom in Phoenix.
In her youth she had several television appearances, such as in the series Family Ties. From 1988 to 1993 she sang with her brother River Phoenix in the band Aleka 's Attic, which, however, no published album. In 1993 she played the role of Bonanza Jellybean in Even Cowgirls Get the Blues. It was the mid-1990s backing vocalist for REM and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Between 1997 and 2001 she was a member of the band The Causey Way, which also included her sister Summer. In 2003, the band Phoenix Paper Cranes.
