Rainer Aigner

Rainer Aigner ( born September 4, 1967 in Eggenfelden ) is a former German football player.

Career

With 17 years Aigner left his youth SSV Wurmannsquick from the Lower Bavarian district Rottal -Inn and moved to the youth department of TSV 1860 Munich at the A- juniors. At 18, he moved to the first team, and played in four seasons until season end of 1989, 80 league games into the third-class Amateur Oberliga Bayern and scored four goals.

He then moved to city rivals FC Bayern Munich and played two seasons in 50 league games and scored two goals for the amateur team. In 1990, he won with the national team of the Bavarian Association of the Countries Cup against the national team of the Hessian Land Association.

For season 1990/91 drew Aigner on into the professional team and denied on May 25, 1991 ( 31 Matchday), the 7:3 win at home to Hertha BSC over 90 minutes his only league game for Bayern.

For the 1991/92 season he moved to league rivals Fortuna Dusseldorf, played 16 Bundesliga games and climbed on the end of the season as the 20th and Table 2 in the Bundesliga from. His first Profitor in 34 second division games he succeeded on December 5, 1992 ( 24th Round ) in the 2-1 win in the away match against FC Chemnitz with the winning goal in the 24th minute.

His professional career ended on June 6, 1993 ( 46th Round ) with the 1-2 defeat at home to VfL Wolfsburg and the descent into the Oberliga Nordrhein. In this he graduated from the 1993/94 season also for the Düsseldorf and contributed with three goals in 29 league games for the league championship and promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga at.

After that, he was still three seasons, until 1997, again for the second team of Bavaria, now in the Regionalliga Süd, active. After a final season for the football section of the SC - Baldham Vaterstetten he finished his football career in 1998 final.

Others

After his playing career Aigner worked as a motivational speaker for leaders.

He is currently Managing Director of Real Estate Company Realty Works Management GmbH in Munich.
