Ralph Ferguson

Ralph Ferguson PC ( * September 13 1929 in Mosa Township, Ontario ) is a Canadian farmer and politician of the Liberal Party of Canada, who was for several years a Member of the House of Commons and a short time Minister of Agriculture.

Life

Ferguson, who was a farmer by profession, was elected at the general election of 18 February 1980 as a candidate of the Liberal Party to the deputies in the lower house and represented there until his election defeat in the next election on September 4, 1984 the constituency Lambton - Middlesex.

On 4 March 1980 he took over his first government post and was initially until February 28, 1982 Parliamentary Secretary of the Minister of State for Small Business and Tourism.
