Ramesses X

Ramesses X was the ninth and penultimate ancient Egyptian King (Pharaoh) of the 20th Dynasty ( New Kingdom ), and reigned from 1109 to 1105 BC

Origin

He is either the son or son of Ramesses IX. and thus his wife Titi either daughter or daughter- of Ramses IX.

Rule

As Ramses VIII he is himself and shows his little reign. The highest known of him regnal year is the year 3 It is occupied by the Nekropolentagebuch of Deir el -Medina. His vizier was allegedly Chaemwese. Monuments of his rule did not exist. Is succeeded by his son Ramses XI.

Tomb

Ramses X. has unlike Ramses VIII a grave in the Valley of the Kings ( KV18 ), which remained unfinished, however, and was inundated with boulders. In two campaigns in 1998-2000, it was fully excavated and documented. On matters of grave goods and the mummy is not known.
