Ramin Azizov

Ramin Azizov ( born February 8, 1988) is an Azerbaijani Taekwondoin. It starts in the weight category up to 80 kilograms.

Azizov won his first international medal at the Junior World Championship 2005 in Baku. Four years later he competed in his first title fights in the adult range, but at the World Championships in Copenhagen, he retired in his second battle of. Azizov won his first medal at senior level at the 2011 World Championships in Gyeongju. With a quarter-final victory over Nesar Ahmad Bahave he reached the semi-finals and won bronze. At the European Championships 2012 in Manchester, he reached the finals and won after a defeat against Aaron Cook with silver his first European medal.

Azizov won in 2011, the International Olympic qualification tournament in Baku in the weight category up to 80 kilograms and qualified for the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
