Ramon Berndroth

Ramon Bernd Roth ( born March 24, 1952 in Mainz) is a former football player. He worked from 1991 to 2010 as the football coach, and since the summer of 2011 working as a sports coordinator at Kickers Offenbach.

Playing career

His playing career began in his hometown club, 1 FSV Mainz 05 then moved to the amateurs of Eintracht Frankfurt. The mid-1970s he played with the VfR Buerstadt in the Second Bundesliga.

Coaching career

First, he was from 1991 to 1997 worked as an assistant coach at Eintracht Frankfurt. He was also head coach of the second team. He then spent two years at VfB Lübeck. Between 2000 and 2003 he was head coach at Kickers Offenbach in the Regionalliga Süd. After his release, he joined the VfR Neumünster, before he returned after only two months at the 1 FC Eschborn as coach of the U23 to Offenbach. In the second division season 2007/ 08 he was after the dismissal of Wolfgang Frank for a game interim coach. At the beginning of the second division season 2008/ 09 he moved to FSV Frankfurt, who had risen straight to the 2nd Bundesliga, and where coach Tomas Oral did not have the required coaching license. Bernd Roth oversaw the 2009/10 main responsibility the second team of the FSV, the rise in the Regionalliga Süd at the end of the season from the Hesse league. After a 2:7 defeat in the Stuttgarter Kickers on 16 Matchday decided the sporty line of the FSV, to separate from Bernd Roth and his co- coach Mike Osei. Bernd Roth's successor on 17 November 2010 Bernhard Trares.

Career as Sportkordinator

1 July 2011, Ramon Berndroth returned in new function returns as a sports coordinator of the overall club Kickers Offenbach is the OFC and also took over the leadership of the youth training center.

Private

His son Nino Berndroth is also football player and played under his father at the U23 Kickers Offenbach. His son followed him in 2008/ 09 to FSV Frankfurt and played there as well in the U23.
