Ramon Bieri
Ramon Bieri ( born June 16, 1929 in St. Louis, Missouri, † 27 May 2001, Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California ) was an American actor.
Life
Bieri began his acting career in the early 1960s, first as a theater actor. He played off-Broadway in Macbeth and Macduff, among other Enobarbus in Antony and Cleopatra, and had made his Broadway debut in 1963 in Too True to be of George Bernard Shaw beautiful. He also appeared in 1962 in various television series and was for four decades to see in a variety of series guest roles. In 1981, he starred in Bret Maverick, the new edition of the Western series Maverick, opposite James Garner, the role of Elijah Crow. However, this was discontinued after the first season.
He also starred in several successful films. Larger roles he had, among others, in Robert Wise's science fiction film Andromeda - Deadly dust from space, Terrence Malick's Badlands - Sever dreams and Robert Aldrich A rabbi in the Wild West. He made his film debut in 1966 alongside Jacqueline Bisset and Joseph Cotten in The Grasshopper.
