Rangel, Luanda

Rangel is one of the nine municipalities Municipalities that form the metropolitan area in the Angolan capital, Luanda, in the eponymous province of Luanda.

Rangel has an area of 6.2 km ² and around 261,000 inhabitants ( 2006). It is bordered to the west by the municipality of Ingombota, on the north by the Municipio Sambizanga, on the east by the Municipio Cazenga and on the south by the Municipalities Kilamba Kiaxi and Maianga. Rangel consists of the municipalities Terra Nova, Rangel and Marcal.
