Raoul Weckbecker

Raoul Weckbecker (* July 16, 1898 in Mersch; † 6 October 1978) was a Luxembourgian Bobsportler and skier.

Weckbecker belonged at the Olympic Winter Games in 1928 in St. Moritz as a member of the four-man bob by Marc Schœtter to the first winter athletes who sent the Grand Duchy of winter games. The young team finished the two runs on the 20th of 23 seats.

Eight years later Weckbecker was then captain of your own two-man bob at the Winter Games in 1936 in Garmisch -Partenkirchen. But together with his teammate Géza Wertheim he came not through the 22nd and last square. He also competed in the alpine competitions, but were already in downhill skiing on the race.
