Raseborg sub-region

The administrative community Raseborg ( seutukunta Raaseporin Finnish, Swedish Raseborg Ekonomisk region), until 2008 administrative community Ekenäs ( Tammisaaren seutukunta, Ekenäs Ekonomisk region) is one of two administrative Communities ( seutukunta ) in the Finnish landscape Uusimaa. To her belongs the western, swedish speaking to a large extent part of Uusimaa. Got its name, the administrative community Raseborg the beginning of 2009, when the previously eponymous city Ekenäs united with Karis and Pohja the new city Raseborg.

To manage Community Ekenäs include the following three cities and towns:

  • Hanko ( Hango )
  • Ingå ( Ingå )
  • Raseborg ( Raasepori )
