Rasim Kara

Rasim Kara ( born June 10, 1950 in Eskişehir ) is a former Turkish football goalkeeper and football coach since 1996.

Playing career

Rasim Kara began his career as a goalkeeper in Eskişehir Işıkspor, before moving to Usakspor and later to the first division side Bursaspor. In the years 1975 to 1984, he achieved some success as an active soccer player in Beşiktaş Istanbul.

Coaching career

After ending his active career, he remained faithful to the football and was an assistant coach of the Turkish national team. He managed the Turkish national team at the European Football Championship in 1996 and was engaged in the following season as coach Beşiktaş Istanbul. Since 2008 he is the coach of the Azerbaijani club FK Xəzər Lənkəran.
