RÃ¥sunda IS

Råsunda IS ( IS = idrottssällskap, German Sports Club ) is a Swedish football club based in Solna. The club played several years in the Swedish second league.

History

The club was founded in 1912 initially played Råsunda IS unterklassig. As a master of Division 4 Stockholm Norra the team first time in 1960 was promoted to the third division. Here, the club established in the front area; In 1962 he was in Division 3 Östra Svealand behind IK City with a point behind runner-up and managed in the following year promotion to the second division. In Division 2 Svealand the team finished in the first year to fourth place before they missed in the season in 1965 with one point behind the space occupied by Södertälje SK last non relegation relegation.
