Raszków, Lower Silesian Voivodeship

Raszków ( German Seifersdorf ) is a village in the powiat Kłodzki in Lower Silesia in Poland. It belongs to the urban and rural community Radków ( Wuenschelburg ).

Geography

Raszków is located on the northeast edge of the Table Mountains, ten kilometers south of Nowa Ruda. Southwest of the 435 high mountain Bogatka is ( hops mountain). Neighboring towns are Ścinawka Średnia in the north, Ścinawka Dolna in the east, in the southeast Suszyna, Kopanka ( Agnes field) in the south and Wambierzyce in the West.

History

The scale as a series Seifersdorf village was first mentioned in 1316 as " Seiffersdorf ". Other spellings were Sifridisdorf ( 1346 ) and Seifridtsdorf ( 1559 ). The Czech village name was Žibřidovice. It belonged to Wünschelburger district in Glatzer country that was a by- the land of the crown of Bohemia. With this, it told the story of his political and religious affiliation. For 1384, it is listed as a vicarage, later it was a branch church of center pieces. There was in former times from the proportions of the dominion and the Freirichterguts, which was acquired in the second half of the 16th century by the owner of dominion.

The Domini Alan suitable part 1316 of Theodoric Thenitz, 1351 Hans von Logau and beginning of the 15th century, the family of Nimptsch to low stones. After Ernst von Nimptsch died without descendants, were the goods as a completed fief to the Bohemian ruler King Sigismund. This was about 1437 Seifersdorf Wenzel Cluxa of Dohalitz. His widow, Dorothea married in 1439 with Hans Donig of Zdanitz ( Ždánice ), whose descendants remained in possession of Seifersdorf to 1623. This year, the possessions of the late 1620 Konrad von Donig were confiscated because of his participation in the Bohemian uprising. 1631 came Seifersdorf to the Breslau Bishop Johann Balthasar Liesch of Hornau and to its siblings Johann Jacob and Maria Barbara. They sold Seifersdorf 1651 Johann Christoph Hofer Hofer castle. About his sons came in 1673 to Anton Ferdinand of Sauern and from 1704 to Johann Ignaz von Sauern. His heirs sold the Seifersdorf 1705 Johann Georg von Ullersdorf. Its eponymous son sold it in 1734 to the Imperial General George Olivier of Valais, from which it inherited by his son Stephen. 1783 Seifersdorf Ludwig Friedrich Wilhelm von Schlabrendorf, who a year later the Imperial Count Alexander von Schoenaich - Carolath sold it. From this acquired Seifersdorf Imperial Count Anton Alexander von Magni on Ecker village.

After the Silesian Wars Seifersdorf came together with the county of Glatz in 1763 with the Peace of Hubertusburg to Prussia. 1798 a new school house was built. After the reorganization of Prussia Seifersdorf belonged since 1815 to the province of Silesia, which was divided into counties. 1816-1853 County of Glatz, 1854-1932, the district neurodegeneration was responsible. After its dissolution in 1933 Niederrathen belonged until 1945 to turn county Glatz. Together with the rural community Dürr Kunz village and the agricultural estates of the same name was formed in 1874 the District Seifersdorf.

As a result of World War II Seifersdorf fell in 1945 to Poland and was renamed Raszków. The German population was expelled in 1946. The newly settled inhabitants were partly displaced persons from eastern Poland. 1975-1998 belonged to Raszków Voivodeship Wałbrzych.

Attractions

  • The 1384 mentioned church of St. Peter and Paul was destroyed on June 27, 1668 by a lightning strike. It was newly built in 1690 in Baroque style.
