Ratno Dolne

Ratno Dolne ( German Niederrathen ) is a village in the Polish powiat Kłodzki in Lower Silesia. It belongs to the urban and rural community Radków ( Wuenschelburg ).

Geography

Ratno Dolne lies on the northern edge of the Table Mountains, nine kilometers south of Nowa Ruda. It is traversed by the Posna, a right tributary of the stones. Neighboring towns are Ścinawka Gorna the north, Ścinawka Średnia in the east, in the southeast Raszków, Wambierzyce in the south and Ratno Górne and Radków in the West.

History

Probably in the 11th century was built on a promontory overlooking the Posna a Bohemian Landwehr, which served the country's defense. To it was formed following a rule which was first mentioned in 1347 under the name of Rathen and was owned by the family of Muschcin ( mosques ). Other owners were from 1368 Pannwitz, 1494 Duke Henry the Younger, the 1501 Ulrich von Hardegg followed. This gave 1505 Veste Rathen, together with a Vorwerk the Stefan Pantzinger. 1514-1613 Rathen was owned by the noble family of Reichenbach. Next owners were Carl von Sebottendorf and Peter Long Meadow. 1675 Daniel bought Paschasius of Osterberg the estate and village Niederrathen from which it passed to his son Johann Anton. Since 1679 the village, which was previously the parish always Wuenschelburg belonged to the parish Albendorf. 1761 acquired upper and Niederrathen the Neuroder Commerce Leopold Genedel, it came over his heirs 1854 Woldemar of Johnston and subsequently to his son Maximilian von Johnston. Maximilian's widow transferred the ownership of Baron von Blanckart.

After the Silesian Wars Niederrathen came together with the county of Glatz in 1763 with the Peace of Hubertusburg to Prussia. After the reorganization of Prussia belonged since 1815 to the province of Silesia, which was divided into counties. 1816-1853 County of Glatz, 1854-1932, the district neurodegeneration was responsible. After its dissolution in 1933 Niederrathen belonged until 1945 to turn county Glatz.

With the commissioning of Heuscheuerbahn Mittelsteine ​​- Wuenschelburg Niederrathen received 1903 rail connection.

As a result of World War II Niederrathen fell in 1945 to Poland and was renamed Ratno Dolne. The German population was expelled. The newly settled inhabitants were partly displaced persons from eastern Poland. 1975-1998 belonged to Ratno Dolne Voivodeship Wałbrzych.

  • The building west of the palace formerly served as Chancery. It was built in the 3rd quarter of the 17th century and rebuilt in 1872.
