Raukumara Range

The Raukumara Range is a mountain range in the north of Gisborne on New Zealand's North Island.

It forms a part of the main mountain range of the island, which runs from Wellington in north-northeast direction to the East Cape.

The mountain consists mainly of greywacke, argillites, siltstone and sandstone. The highest nichtvulkanische summit of the North Island, Mount Hikurangi, is part of the mountain range.
