Ray Moyer
Paul Raymond Moyer ( born February 21, 1898 in Santa Barbara, † February 6, 1986 in Woodland Hills ) was an American Designer.
Life
Moyer began his career in the film business as a so-called one prop in the film studio MGM. Earlier, in 1919 completed his military service. From the late 1920s he was active as a production designer. As part of this, he worked for several film studios before erschließlich moved to Paramount Pictures, and remained until the end of his career there.
Moyer won per an Oscar for his work in Samson and Delilah (1949 ), Sunset Boulevard (1950) and Cleopatra (1963) and was nominated nine more times. Overall, he was involved in more 115 productions, including sporadically television series. His last film was Cahill from the year 1973.
