Raymond E. Goedert

Raymond Emil Goedert (* October 15, 1927 in Oak Park ) is a retired auxiliary bishop in Chicago.

Life

The Archbishop of Chicago, Cardinal Stritch Samuel Alphonsius, ordained him a priest on May 1, 1952.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on 8 July 1991 concerning the Auxiliary Bishop of Chicago and Titular Bishop of Tamazeni. The Archbishop of Chicago Joseph Louis Cardinal Bernardin gave him on 29 August of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Auxiliary Bishops Alfred Leo Abramowicz and John Robert Gorman from Chicago.

On 24 January 2003, Pope John Paul II accepted his resignation age-related.
