Reaper - A Terrible job is an American television series developed by Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas. The series was produced from 2007 to 2009 by ABC Television Studio. Kevin Smith led the pilot film director and worked as a creative consultant for the series.
The first season of the series was aired from 25 September 2007 to 20 May, 2008 on the U.S. channel The CW Television Network, the second season ran from March 3 to 29 May 2009. The German premiere was on the pay- TV - FOX Channel from 20 May 2008. In German Free TV ProSieben showed the episodes of the first season since April 20, 2009 every Monday evening. The broadcast, however, was canceled after the 16th episode and was only resumed on 16 April 2011.
Meanwhile, the series shall be deemed terminated as The CW was not ready to order a third season, and no other station took over the series.
Action
Sam Oliver lives with his parents and his younger brother Keith in Seattle. After canceling his college education, he adopted a low-paying position in the local hardware store "The Workbench " and spends his free time with playing video games and doing nothing.
On his 21st birthday, his life suddenly changes when he learns that his parents have sold his soul to the devil before he was born. This Decides to establish the young man to capture escaped souls from hell, where Sam is supported by his colleagues Bert ( called Sock) and Ben.
