Recep Öztürk

Recep Öztürk ( born June 20, 1977 in Tekirdağ ) is a Turkish football goalkeeper who currently plays for Adana Demirspor.

Career

Öztürk started in the youth of Tekirdağspor and was recorded here in 1995 as an amateur in the professional squad. His first game for the then third division completed Öztürk in a league match against Küçükçekmecespor. After he was active as a goalkeeper for an amateur contract with Tekirdağspor one and a half seasons, he left this club for the summer of 1996 and moved to first division club Genclerbirligi Ankara. In this club he played for two seasons for the reserve team.

Without having attended a game for the professionals from Genclerbirligi, he joined in the summer of 1998 to the second division Konyaspor. Here he was the first two seasons working as a substitute keeper and completed during this time only an encounter. For the second half of the season 2000 /01 he was employed in the starting lineup and had this role he held until the end of season. The 2001/02 season he played almost throughout as goalkeeper.

For the season 2002/ 03 he moved to first division club MKE Ankaragucu. Here he took part in the pre-season training camp, but was subsequently rejected by the coaching staff. The season 2002 /03 he was then loaned out to second division Sakaryaspor. After a year at Sakaryaspor he joined in the summer of 2003, including release to this club. The season 2003/ 04 he joined his team as champions of the TFF Lig from 1 and rose to the Süper Lig. After a year in the Süper Lig in the Öztürk came to twelve Erstligaeinsätzen, Sakaryaspor rose again. The next season they managed via the play-off victory indirect resurgence in the Süper Lig

Öztürk left with this success his club and moved to his old club, the first division club Genclerbirligi Ankara. Here he played the next three seasons, partly as a goalkeeper.

For the season 2009/10 he was hired by a former club of him, the second division Konyaspor on. With this club Öztürk succeeded end of the season the play-off victory, and that indirect promotion to the Süper Lig

Since the summer of 2010 his contract with Konyaspor and was not renewed, he left this club and signed up to the second division Karşıyaka SK. In the spring he left this club towards third division Giresunspor.

Just before the end of the summer transfer window Öztürk moved to second division Adana Demirspor.
