Rekong Peo is a city in the state of Himachal Pradesh and the administrative headquarters of the Indian district of Kinnaur.

It is located at an altitude of 2300 m and is located at the lower end of the large, populated and cultivated slopes of the main traditional village Kalpa, 260 km from Shimla and seven kilometers above the town on the banks of Satluj Powari.

The nearest airport is at Chandigarh.
