Recreo

Recreo is the capital of the department of La Paz in the province of Catamarca in northwestern Argentina. It lies on the western edge of the province at an altitude of 220 meters and has 10,147 inhabitants in (2001, INDEC ). The distance to the provincial capital San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca is 206 kilometers. You can reach Recreo on the Ruta Nacional 157 and Ruta Provincial 20 or via the Ruta Provincial 111
