Red Cliff, also Redcliff, a small town in the U.S. state of Colorado is - about 150 km west of Denver located in the Sawatchkette at Eagle River. The municipality is part of Eagle County and was until 1921 also the administrative center of the district. It was founded in 1879 during the " silver boom " by miners from Leadville who came in anticipation of increased prospects of success over the Tennessee Pass. The name Red Cliff goes back to the red quartzite cliffs that surround the town.

Today's Red Cliff consists of several old houses and caravans converted into the river valleys of the Eagle River. Some of the many old wooden buildings along the main street were modernized in recent times for the winter sports tourism. For the cross-country skiing Red Cliff is a popular access point to the Shrine Pass, Vail then from the winter a shuttle service is for.
