Redwillow River

The Redwillow River is a left tributary of the Wapiti River in the Canadian provinces of Alberta and British Columbia.

The Redwillow River has its origin in Stony Lake in the Hills foothills of the Canadian Rocky Mountains in northeastern British Columbia. It flows in an easterly direction through the Pouce Coupe Prairie in the south of the Peace River Country to Alberta. In its further course of Redwillow River meander begins to form. About 4 kilometers above the confluence with the Elk River meets the most important tributary, the Beaverlodge River, from the north on the left Redwillow River. The Redwillow River has a length of about 100 km. Its catchment area covers some 3300 square kilometers, half of which is contributed by the Beaverlodge River.
