Reformed Church in Sub-Carpathia/ Reformed Church in Transcarpathia

The Reformed Church in Transcarpathia (Hungarian: Kárpátaljai Református Egyház ) is a reformed church in Ukraine.

It has around 135,000 members, representing 0.3 percent of the total population of Ukraine and 10.8 percent of the population of Transcarpathia Oblast. At the top of its 103 municipalities is a bishop, with headquarters in Berehove.

The Reformed Church in Transcarpathia is the church of the non-Catholic Hungary to the south of the historic landscape of Carpathian Ukraine. She went out in 1923 from the Reformed Church in Hungary and was from 1938 to 1945 again a part thereof, as the Carpathian Ukraine was part of Hungary again. After 1945 until the end of the Soviet Union, the church state repression was exposed who commented in flight or deportation of many pastors and in an attempt to integrate the Reformed Church in the Baptist.

The Reformed Church in Transcarpathia is a member of World Alliance of Reformed. Your partner church is the Church of Scotland.
