Refuge Arbolle

The Rifugio Arbolle (also Rifugio Alpe Arbolle ) is a refuge in the Aosta Valley in the Graian. It lies at an altitude of 2507 m within the community Charvensod on the same lake Laghi di Arbolle. Built in 1998 and opened in 1999, hut is used as a base for the ascent of Monte Emilius. The lodge is run privately by mid-June to early September and offers at this time 66 climbers sleeps.

Increase

The increase to the hut begins in Pila, one located on 1,790 m district of Gressan, which developed in the last 40 years to become a ski resort of Val d'Aosta. From Pila the way to the 2,331 m high station Chamolé which can also be reached by chairlift from Pila leads.

First, it briefly goes horizontally to the east, where you will reach the Lago Chamolé after a few minutes. From there the trail leads through meadows south up the slope. After 50 minutes, crossing the 2,641 m high Col Chamolé. After another 20 minutes away on steep terrain, the deeper hut.
