Charvensod

Charvensod is an Italian municipality in the autonomous region of Aosta Valley. Charvensod has 2516 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) and lies at an altitude of 746 m slm near Aosta. The Parish Church was mentioned in the 13th century. The castle dates from the 14th century and is now a ruin.

The neighboring municipalities are Aosta, Brissogne, Cogne, Gressan and Pollein.

During the Fascist period the place was known as Campo Mussolini.
