Ollomont

Ollomont is an Italian municipality in the autonomous region of Aosta Valley. The municipality has 158 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012), is situated on the left bank of the Dora Baltea to an average height of 1356 m slm and has a size of 53 km ².

The neighboring communities are called Bagnes ( Switzerland ), Bionaz, Bourg -Saint -Pierre ( Switzerland ), Doues Etroubles Oyace and Valpelline.

Ollomont lies at the foot of the Grand Combin. Worth seeing is the parish church was built in 1775.

From 1939 to 1945 the village was the Italianate name Ollomonte.
